Description
I was never good with numbers. The night I met her was unmarked in my calendar, but perfectly engraved on the sweet confines of my memory and daydreaming. It was on a warm midsummer’s night, under the veil of flashing stars and the sweet kiss of moonlight. fireflies danced with us and everything went so slow, as if time was trying to stop itself for us. I can still remember the way she danced, with her cute quirk smile and inviting arms.We hum our dreams into the wind, and there is this place in my mind, where we are always together, sitting on a bench, looking at a landscape of dreams, and at the same time, building our own.
We soon lived a happy life together. For a moment, it felt that heaven was at an arm’s grasp. Those days were the happiest moments of my life, and I can definitely say that I’m the luckiest man in the world,She is the fulcrum between my polarities, the keeper of my life and sanity. She tamed my wild, furious self, and I am perhaps a loose cannon without her. Every night we danced like the first time we did, and she has not aged a bit. There was a cloak of enigma in her eyes, a certain mystery that I could never decode. And I that soft sense of mystery, I found the purest expression of beauty. It pierces directly into the core of my being, inside the confines of my soul.
I can dance with her forever.
But forever was a cruel word, because it never existed at all until the Black storm clouds appeared. Each night she cried to herself, and to herself only. The stars, were nothing but mute witnesses to her voiceless agony. Every morning she wakes up with dried tears and tries to live normally.I have always thought that I was the strongest man in the world when I’m with her, but I was wrong. Her strength was much, much deeper. It was the ability to turn tears into smiles, and cries into laughter.I was surprised to find how strong she really was. Her skin might have been softer than an angel’s but her heart was forged of diamonds. It was precious, but never fragile.
One day, on the moment that I have least expected it, she went to a calm sleep and never woke up again. Then came all our precious moments, passing away within my own two eyes.I was alone, and all I wanted was to be her. But I know that I can’t... heaven took her away from me and all I could do was weep alone.
Years passed, and I’m still here on the place where we first met, the place where we built our dreams and hopes together,a place where birds used to sing the song of eternal love. This is the place where the tree of our covenant bloomed forever, a place called Beatriz.

...outstanding and breathtaking Artwork
I can quite enough relate as well as to Your painting,as to Your story...I read beneath the comments, You mention, it is a true story...
When I am painting or drawing, I always have to express my "own story" too, any watcher , of course, interprets his:her own story, what makes the painting interesting, to my opinion.
However, Your story"a place called Beatriz" , in occurence, when I read it and saw the painting...was, like I would have read part of my own story...not, totally, except the sad end, where Your beloved passed away..(I am sorry for Your loss ..., in my own story, differs, that the person just "walked"away, and I had to accept, that everything he pretended, was just ...a lie..endless, had an end, in forever...remained ..just "ref:" over...
All this to say, that Your painting tremendously touched me, and evoked obviously something very deep.

Now, see. THIS should be a DD.
Unbelievable. So incredibly beautiful, and full of truth, and life. It really didn't need the artists' comment, other than to fill in the details. Beautiful!

Outstanding work, stunning. And a heartbreaking story behind it, but beautifully told, visually and through words.
