very atmospheric, the black trees give very good contrast, a greater sense of mystery than in the other shots in the series.

WhoW!
Les couleurs, la lumière, dans un semblant de brouillard...
Je trouve votre photo magnifique!
De plus, le titre est vraiment percutant.

Truely a stunning photo - I think it has just become my favourite of yours. As a lot of other people have pointed out the atmosphere that you have caught on film here is very strong. When I look at this photo I can almost feel the mist of the fog on my skin and the cool air running through the forest - the photo itself is that believeable.
The fog has created a great layered effect - the image does not feel flat in any way, shape, or form. There is a natural progression of layers from the foreground trees (which are nice and rich when looking at the tones and shadows) to the background trees (which almost dissapear into the fog - you can barely make out their shapes).
I think the scene minus the large log to the right would have been powerful enough, but for me the addition of that log has really made the photo. You could almost look at it as a cloaked figure overlooking the scene, making their way silently through the forest.
Well done - I am very impressed!

great shot, the tree on the left reminds me of Vampire Hunter D, which makes it even more interesting of a pic.

you've named it disaster but this reminds me of the death that has to take place in nature in order for the rebirth to follow. sorrowful and beautiful all at the same time.

Wow... It's amazing how the fog and the sunlight are working together. In my mind it looks like a "sunbath", because the rays are catched in the wet fog... Great.. I think I'll this one here.

Excellent capture... I really like the composition. My favorite part being the large, thick trunk on the right, it has a foreboding look to it.

Can a photo be more atmospheric than this one? I doubt it!
Are there any photos out there with cheesier titles than this? Nope!
Forgive me, Seb, but I think the title is totally off here.
The photo on the other hand is outstanding, portraying an alltogether different winter.
Not the cheerful X-Mas season, but a dark and gloomy time that turns a wood into a frightful place where no man would like to wander by himself.
Another fantastic piece in your portfolio.

Well, the title is not original, I know, it's just the following of the long series of black and white / fog landscapes. It' could be much better, but me and the titles!
Anyway, thank you so much Sascha for such beautiful words!
