Description Name: Steam Guardian (At least, it's what she calls herself.)

Age: 6.4 billion years old- although she only looks 20.

Gender: Female, if that wasn't obvious by her, ah, curves.

Sexual Preference: Very gay- well, pansexual, but she currently prefers females. She doesn't look it, causing many guys to fall for her, but she's got a girlfriend. Yes, her girlfriend is a plant, but that's none of your business. She has dated a man in the past, but after his tragedy, she gave up with love until meeting Flora.

D&D Alignment: Lawful Neutral

Best 3 traits: She's charismatic, intelligent and sarcastic.  You really can't get much better than that.

Fun Facts:

Her blood is unlike any other's, and it contains strands of literally every living species DNA. So, in short- she is the Mew of the real world. Plus it's a shade darker than a human's, and it cannot be processed by current day machinery. This has been tested, and lets just say that the hospital may or may not have blown up. It cannot be either confirmed nor denied that this was indeed Steam's fault.

She had never been in a relationship before she hooked up with  Flora. Sure, people had confessed their love for her and such, but she had to break their hearts by telling them that she could never accept such a long term commitment. If she did, well... It would've just broken her heart when they died and she kept living. She's still wary of this possibility with Flora.

Steam is incapable of dying permanently. To many, this is found to be godly and overpowered, but in reality it's more of a curse than a blessing. As Earth's guardian, her sole purpose for existing is to protect the planet and it's life. If she were to die, the world would be plunged into chaos and everything as we know it would die- but, as said previously, she can't die, so that could never happen. She'll live until the end of time, or until the end of mankind- whichever comes first. Every time she dies, she just pops right back, as good as new. There is, however, one weapon that can bring about her permanent downfall, and that weapon is in the hands of her enemy.

Every time that Steam dies, she gains a scar. She has died countless times, so you'd assume that you'd be able to see all of the scars- and you would be completely wrong.  She's died so many times in so many different ways that her entire body has basically become a scar. You can see a few scars on top of that, but those ones are from REALLY bad deaths. Don't ask. She'll slap you.

When Steam gets injured, she has a tendency to kill herself. Now, that sounds rather horrible, but there's a reason. When she dies, she comes back as good as new without any pain or any wounds, basically cancelling any of the effects that had been previously placed upon her. Even starvation, dehydration and sleep deprivation disappear when she does it. It may be rather traumatizing when she pulls out a pistol and shoots herself in the middle of a battle, but it really does help her.

Steam rarely does anything without her goggles, gloves, and time manipulator on. Her time manipulator is the thing around her wrist, if you were curious, and it allows her to travel through time and the alternate dimensions/realities. The time manipulator is special to her not only because of it's crazy abilities, but because of its attachment to her. It contains a literal part of Steam. When she made it all those years ago, she used a part of herself to keep it going and so it wouldn't physically be able to betray her. She keeps her goggles on almost purely for aesthetic purposes, but also kinda because of the person who gave them to her. She rarely talks about him, however. Steam keeps her gloves on for one big reason- to prevent hysteria. No, it's not because of some kind of weird germ or anything, but it's because of her hands. One of the other things that sets her apart from humans is the uncanny holes through the palms of her hands. If you want a visual, just picture a large hole going straight through your hand so that your fingers are barely attached to the rest of you. Kind of a creepy concept, right? Well, Steam has gotten rather used to it, but imagine the panic that would ensue if someone saw that. They'd accuse her of witchcraft or of being an alien, which is the last thing that she needs. She is technically an alien, but that's completely besides the point- normal people don't know that she is, y'know, an alien. SO YEAH, STEAM KEEPS THE GLOVES ON.

Personality:

Stubbornness
She refuses to believe in anything anyone else says unless she agrees with it, because she is CLEARLY right 100% of the time. This can be both positive and negative, however, because if she's completely wrong and doesn't know it, she won't have a clue. This has happened on multiple occasions, but of course she'd never tell anybody that. For instance, when her theory on the dinosaurs was wrong and even when she was staring at the meteors hitting the Earth she refused to believe that she was wrong about a volcanic eruption. She also refuses healing and help at times because she thinks that she can 'take care of it herself'. This was proven to be rather false when her head was cut off not once, but TWICE during an attempt to stop the French Revolution. She still refuses to accept the two scars around her neck  to this day.

Charisma
One of Steam's greatest abilities- to literally talk her way out of almost any situation. Maybe it's from years of talking, or maybe it's from years of having to blatantly lie to look good, who knows. All anyone does know is that she's an excellent fast talker. She can come up with a long and in depth story on the fly about how she is just a simple college student in a cosplay outfit headed to Los Angeles for Comic Con and that her gun is clearly fake and that she had nothing to do with the wealthy marijuana grower's death. ....Anyways, that's just a simple example, but she is still incredibly good at speaking. She can convince anyone to do literally anything as long as you give her enough time. Once before, she rallied a group of four injured soldiers to revolt against their boss- and they somehow succeeded. Her simple action actually saved plenty of lives in the future, or so she claims. The only real problem with this is that it's impossible to tell when she's lying. She'll stare you right in the eyes and tell you a blatant lie, and you'd never be able to guess that she's doing it. The only real tell is that if it's a really big one she'll look away for a moment, and she'll bite her lip. She's not someone who you want to be in a debate against, I'll tell you that.

Genius
She may not look it, but she is a genius. Some think that she just pretends to be smart, but in reality, she has an IQ hundreds higher than the world's smartest person in all of history. She, when she appeared to be only 10 (So what she was actually 2.8 billion? That's not the part that matters here), managed to build a portable time and dimension hopper with only her imagination. Of course, there may have been some godly intervention here, but  that's still besides the point. Give her five minutes and leave her in a room with nothing but a wrench and a broken TV and she'll create the world's most advanced AI system. The problem with her insane intelligence, however, is that she doesn't care to hide it. Her ego is larger than the sun, and she enjoys telling people about how smart she is or how she has done more when she was two feet tall than some people have in their entire lives. She also has a tendency to talk about things from the future and forget that they haven't been invented yet, which has caused problems more than a few times. Once, she had to go back in time and clobber herself over the head with a lead pipe when she tried to tell Einstein that his theory was wrong and that energy is actually- Wait, did you actually think I was going to tell you about her discovery? No way.

Blunt Brutality
This is NOT one of Steam's positive traits. In fact, it's quite the opposite. Steam... doesn't really know when to hold her tongue about the truth. Sometimes she can mask it with constructive criticism, but other times she cannot. Her charismatic character usually makes people assume that she'll be incredibly kind about this kind of thing, but in reality, no. Not in the slightest. She'll be brutally honest about pretty much anything. 'Hey Steam, does this dress make me look fat?' 'Yeah, you look like a pregnant pig.' ...Yes, she has said that before. The person told this would like to remain anonymous, but they are still rather unhappy. Another problem? She might not even say it that bluntly. How could that be worse, you wonder? Oh, it can be MUCH worse. 'Oh no, you look ABSOLUTELY fine, not at all fat or pig-like in the slightest. What? Of COURSE there wasn't any sarcasm involved in that statement - I have no idea what you're talking about.' Again, this dialogue also ensued. The anonymous person would still like to remain anonymous and is still even more mad about that one than the previous.

Merciful
Despite her seemingly chaotic attitude, Steam is actually rather merciful. Yes, in certain timelines/dimensions she's slain millions, but I mean- that's besides the point. She hates killing anyone, even if it's a horrible person. If it's for the greater good, yes, she'll do it, but that doesn't mean she has to like it. She doesn't even really want to kill Dragon, her nemesis and the 'murderer' of her first and only friend that would've actually lived as long as she has. If you're wondering why murderer was in quotations, it's best you don't know because she doesn't exactly know why either. Don't ask. I mean, sure, she hates the guy, but that piece of her just doesn't want to do it. Anytime she's fighting someone, she can't bear to look them in the eyes because she knows that they'll be closed permanently in just mere moments. Dark? Maybe. Sad? Very. Hotel? Trivago. Not sponsored, by the way, it just fit rather nicely.

Magic Abilities and Weapon:

Magic?
Of course Steam has magic, she wouldn't be a very good magical entity without it now would she? Her magic however is rather... Erm... Limited. Yes, as stated just moments before, she has some, but it's uncontrollable. Her magic is nothing but raw power, and it's a little unpredictable. So, basically, she can't control it. Magical occurrences just spontaneously happen, and she can't do much to stop it. Like, once in a blue moon, something will happen in her favor, but more frequently things go horribly wrong. More than once, she has become completely magnetized during a battle, causing metal weapons to fly at her from all angles. It really isn't very helpful. Every now and then she'll get a little burst of strength, but that's about it for good things. The only other good thing that's really ever come from her magic is her final form- and she's only gotten to that point once, and that was how she managed to contain Dragon within the void permanently.

WRENCH!
Wrench? Yes, you heard right. Every hero gets their specific weapon that they can summon at will- and Steam's is, well, a wrench. Now, I know what you're thinking- what kind of idiot would choose, of all the things, a wrench? Not even like a sword or anything? Well, Steam's wrench has more to it than meets the eye. The edges of it can pierce through flesh easier than a knife, and she has quite the aim when she throws. She can throw it with laser precision, and with the electromagnets in her gloves, it'll fly right back to her when she raises her hand. Steam came up with the idea purely as a joke, and she thought it would be a rather comical way to die, but she didn't think it was very funny when suddenly her spirit weapon is literally a wrench. However, she planned accordingly and dressed to match.

PARKOUR!
PARKOUR! YEAH! One of Steam's hobbies is, oddly enough, parkour. She's incredibly swift and agile, despite her clunky appearance, and she loves to defy the laws of gravity. To be honest, she just loves defying the laws of science in general- and parkour is an excellent way to do so. Now, what does this have to do with weapons or magic? Nothing. Then why is it in the magic and weapon section? Because, indirectly, her parkour skills are a weapon. How? Simply because of her use of it in battle. She can be in a headlock and will arch her back and backflip, crashing down onto their back with a sickening SNAP- and it's not hers that snaps. Her ability to race upwards and backflip three times in the air, coming down into a judo roll, all without being wounded, has come to be a rather lethal weapon. You can't touch someone if they're three feet above you, now can you? Precisely the point. And you also can't really do anything when your opponent jumps off a building and somehow manages to remain intact simply because of a judo roll. See, defying the laws of physics really is fun.

Woot woot! Look at that! Steam is here and in the FLESH! I'm actually rather proud of that picture, despite the horrible attempt at boots and the wrench. I know I didn't add any shading except for on the goggles, but I swear it's not because I'm lazy! It's just because I thought that would be bad on the ref, but ehhhhh
