OMG OMG OMGthis was a monster super crazy BITCH of a project and I worked my ARSE off on it but FINALLY its done!!!
I am very happy with the results and am are be mentally preparing myself for the worst since the pictures I love the most are the ones I'm the least optimistic about XDDDD! Here's hoping you guys like it as much as me though! Also if this is chock full of spelling errors its because I am SO freakin tired but just couldn 't sleep till I finished (since I was "soooo close" 4 hours ago haha)
But yeah king of the fae finally colored! He ended up looking a lil more femme than I wanted but then he's a fairy and we all know what that means *wink wink*

I had the wings a solid color at first and then my brain said it would work better if I let the world behind them show just a tiny bit. Its actualy a very slight transparency...just enough that you can tell they are transparent

it looks great! i think the slight transparancy makes the wings seem more real and more etherial too as opposed to if they were solid. n.n great job

Wow. That came out a lot better than the version I was working on. Some very similar colour choices, though! That makes me think I had chosen a good colour scheme.

... you know, like... pixely, but not quite pixely? Like they're made of DOTS D: AND I CAN SEE THEM. BUT NOT IN ANYBODY ELSE'S PICTURES.
Either that or I'm insane.
I LOVE your use of colour. You're one of the few artists I see on dA that can still have bright colours, but still keep the overall image very soft. I admire that. ;3

Hooooooly craaaaap.....I couldn't imagine what the lineart would look like colored, because the just the lineart is more detailed and so much better than anything I could draw. And now I see the colored version...holy crap, its amazing!!! So amazing!! All the detail of the colors and the lighting, its just impressive!

Oh, this is so, so gorgeous, I love the way you combined the anime-style character and coloring with the various textures and the photomanip, and you did it so well! Like, he totally fits/blends in there, in harmony with the flowers and cute turtle. And I think this is one of my fav of this kind of your work
