i put it on the wig head and my cat rubs against it and licks it when i am not around. i have no hair care produces in it so i dunno why she wants to lick it so much

aww... Just wash it with detergent for clothings. I do that to all my wigs. =x
A little bit of detergent, soak it in a tub, gently rub the wig and make sure all the dirt comes off, and rinse it and hang it up some where to air dry
