xD it's really easy. The emoticons and stuff are plz accounts so they're accounts made specifically for that picture
to use it it's just
:icon(deviant's name):
and the plz accounts are like this

there are millions of plz accounts you just have to find them. You can scroll over the picture to see what the name is so you can use it. there's a crap ton of them in my deviant id xD
regular emoticons are just :troll face:
there's a list of them in the "emoticons" part of when you type a message (to the left of "preview" and "add comment" in the corner
