when i spotted the gasmask by looscannon [link] i had several ideas. this version with the huge ant-like head on the small delicate body (stock by ?. sorry, it wasn't labeled. i'll insert the link when i find it.) was my favourite.Related content

I like its supposed simplicity. The composition works - the space on the sides actually seems to give it more impact in my opinion.

mostly i love the title...since that's kinda my motto...but the image is something that has been burned into my brain since I saw it yesterday. So, i'm gonna have to fave it.

I just long to see her face..you know. That beautiful long lean body...then "that" insect head looking gas mask, leaves me feeling unsatisfied on some level, incomplete. That said, There is an ugly beautifulness to this image

Hmm... the edges are slightly imperfect, a bit rough - you only see it in full view, but the shadow on the toes gives it away.
Critical thinking out of the way, i think this is the best piece of stock manipulation i have seen on deviantart. Gas masks - a long time obsession, as with many of my generation, headphones, and insect-like body proportions all add up to one really, really great piece.
