So... The L necklace was originally intended as a present for this guy I liked... But then he basically told me it's not going to go anywhere. I think he thought I wanted a super serious relationship with him, which I didn't. I just wanted to do what we were doing, which was like, hang out and do whatever but in the future maybe consider making it official.*Sigh*
I don't know why I felt like explaining that story but I did anyways.

How "super serious"? maybe he just didn't want there to be any possibility of you dating other people at the same time. Some people do that, and I think that's kinda selfish - to date more than one person at a time. There's also the possibility that guy didn't want to feel like he was wasting his time. I mean, what if he spent a lot of time with you, only for you to never end up taking him seriously? That can be pretty frustrating.

Well, like what happened was that I told him I liked him and then the next day he told me that he didn't want to give me false hope because he didn't want a serious relationship right now. So I don't know? I think he has some issues with self esteem, cause when I told him I liked him, he said, "How can I like you when I don't even like myself?" It was heartbreaking.
