Equipment:

- Glow stick necklace: This helps in dark places, but also comes in as a handy distraction, whether it be distracting Tarnic from biting you, or distracting a little girl who was recently complaining about being bored.
-Messenger bag: This is complete with a change of clothes, when they need to strip down to their armored skin, as well as gaming systems, snacks, and a med kit. Essentially it's a perfectly organized diaper bag.
- Armor and shield: Fun fact time! Their skin is not actually skin, but a special blend of metals that when fused with magic, can create obsidian plates all over Benji's body. Certain plates will glow and allow them to bring up shields that can last for a few seconds. In all aspects of their anatomy, they are built to be a giant shield.

History Dossier:
Benji was bred shortly after the war to be a Guardian for a rich human's young daughter, Cassie. They were built to be walking shields, capable of withstanding heavy hits and made to jump into action at the first sign of attempted harm on their masters. Built as an all in one babysitter, Benji became the super sibling, and even grew to love Cassie as if they were blood related. Now that Cassie is older, Benji is needed less as a friend and caretaker, and more as a guardian as times have become more hostile in both High and Low Ironstead.

They continue to live with the family that "owns" them, but have been granted the freedom to pursue an education, so long as they do not endanger Cassie. Benji has now been going to night school to learn about their magical abilities and how to put them to uses other than protecting just one person.

How did you become a dust miner?:
While Benji was allowed to seek out an education, their owners would not be able to fork up the money for all of it. In addition to this, Cassie had taken up an interest in dust mining, and wherever she goes, Benji follows. Most recently, the two joined up with Orion in efforts to save the city from certain doom, what with literal spider demons crawling out of the Old Ironstead pit.

- Named after the popular dog movie Benji from 1997
- Favorite genre of music is ambient and Top 40s
- Had a bit of a stutter when first born, but is now able to push past it. When extremely upset or in tears, they'll revert back and their stutter will come back in full swing.
