Grr...Furry Paws rejected me. I submited the first one, the red and white and was going to wait for it to be accepted before submitting the rest. You need a score of 7.0 to get accepted. Guess what I got? A 6.7. Oy. Here's the scores:Breed Resemblance average - 6.9
Outline average - 6.9
Coloring average - 6.8
Shading average - 6.4
Anatomy average - 6.8
Detail average - 6.8
Quality average - 6.7
Overall average - 6.7
Now, I can definately see the 6.4 on the shading. It shading isn't the best on the first one, but still. Close but no cigar... The colors:
Red & white, black & white, tricolor (black, tan, & white).
Brindle & white, blue fawn/cream & white, capped tri.
Trindle (black, brindle, & white), saddled red & white, saddled brindle & white.
The last five are really rare in the breed, but I made 'em anyway, just because.

Yea, I like the first set best. I prefer the pictures to not have any sort of bg. lol.

God wtf why did they reject you? This is wonderful!! I think you did a great job drawing out all the different basenjis! I love them all, they look so perfect and very true to their breed. :3 I've never seen those last few colors on a basenji before, but they look really lovely, especially that saddled red and white. And yay for the tri basenji those are my love!

*shrugs* These things happen. Thanks. I've been working for a long time to get my 'Senjis to look more realistic. There's just something about their face that's kinda hard to duplicate.
The last few colors are so rare because they mostly came from the African lines brought over in the late '80's.

bullSHIT. your art is so much better than some of the crap that's in there, I swear. and these guys totally look like Basenjis to me. Well anyway, don't take it to heart, and keep trying!

I read the rules. They say that since there are so many images they're making it harder. They could weed out the worse ones, like this set -> [link] which is blobby and weird. But no.
Ah, well. I'm working on another Basenji set right now. Maybe they'll accept this one. ^.^

It's so stupid. there's so much crap art in there it's not even funny. :\ ah well. I guess it would be unfair if the earlier people got in and whatnot, but still. hmf. It's putting me off submitting any more altogether, really.

i love em i really do but if ya wanna try again if they let you thicken the lines and blend the colors xP i love em the way they are really but some people are mean like that. yea... yes! you should make them adoptables on here xP. haha you could make all kinda nonnormal colors as well xP i bet ya peopele would want 'em ^__^
