Let's all go back X amount of years. When I was with my ex she introduced me to a show she watched as a youth. What she probably didn't realize was that I'd like it.

Considering my idea of interesting is how many times I can blow something up before the pretty lights stop flashing something as tame and friendship oriented as MLP probably wouldn't have caught on, right? Wrong. While I am a guy, I'm also not closed to feminine things, and never have been.

So, when a few friends of mine were saying the show got another reboot, all it did was recall memories of the last one and all I could think was that the formula probably hadn't changed. Well, it had slightly actually, and it made the show even better.

So, yesterday after watching a few episodes, I re-drew an old OC made by me back when I was first introduced to the show.

This was Unity, the symbol on him was indeed yes, a triforce symbol, his origins are steeped in playing too much Ocarina of Time before drawing him, shut up.

Essentially, the character was made to be a bit of a boyscout in personality. Do the right thing, eat your veggies, drink your milk, on the paper not the carpet. That sort of thing.

He stood vigilant outside of Ponyville watching the town and making sure nothing bad happened, meaning his social skills weren't exactly fantastic.

Then, as I do, my mind reels and plot is injected and I had to do something more with him and that turned into a large scale build up of a legend to a story climax. I'm not going into detail on it, mostly cause the memory is fuzzy.

So, yeah, drew it, uploaded it. Off to finish up watching the show and other stuffs and things.
