Likes: being outside, hiking, getting up to shenanigans with Nicolai, editing things, critiquing things,

Dislikes: talking, confrontation, being indoors too long, closed spaces, parties

Bio:
Aiden has been putting up with Nicolai's (on the left) shitty magic tricks since they were young. They both grew up with an aptitude for magic, but Aiden was always much better at applying his to actual school work and spell crafting, whereas Nicolai preferred being more creative with his, and trying (and mostly failing) to write his own spells. But since Aiden was better with magic in general, he'd often make Aiden be the one to test them out, and Aiden also became very good at fixing them as a result.
To avoid catching fire whenever Nicolai begged him into any shenanigans.
So basically purely on being nice to his friend, Aiden became an adept spellcrafter at a ridiculously early age.

Neither of his parents used magic for anything but household use, and were very excited by Aiden's good grades and pressured him into becoming a healer, essentially they were the 'doctor, lawyer business or bust' type of people. They did mean well and just wanted him to succeed, but were very close minded. Nicolai tagged along to the same university, specializing in some branches of magic people generally snubbed as mostly fake, like astrology, divination, etc

Aiden and Nicolai are looking to get into spellcrafting together, with Nicolai's creativity and Aiden's practicality they make a pretty good team. He has yet to have the guts to tell his parents or drop out of his program

Quick facts:

-some people assume he's mute, that's how little he talks. He'll often let Nic order for him when they're out together

-will literally just get up and leave a conversation if he gets worked up, he'd prefer being that rude over arguing with someone

-is an excellent healer. and HATES it. aces all his book courses, but horrible at dealing with sick people because he just wants 0 to deal with them.

-if you're quiet and patient, he's a polite conversationalist with a really sharp sense of humour

-has like infinite stamina, does he sleep? no one knows. no one has witnessed this. can hike for hours and often pulls all nighters studying with out flinching the next day

-really likes talking about music when he can get comfortable and plays 3 instruments. is a pretty decent singer too
