Well, seeing as I'm not actually Peter Capaldi, I don't see why are saying it to me... joking.
But I have been running all around the Internet shouting "I TOLD YOU SO" and "CALLED IT, CALLED IT".
I mean, boy, do I hate being right all the time, but of course they weren’t just gonna let him be, the bastards. And he's a fan, he's not going to say 'no' to a good script, if it's best for the future of the show.
It's tradition by now, I think we can't even blame Moffat and his evilness and bloodlust this time.
