No background yet, but for your viewing pleasure...The fire was supposed to be coming out of Zuko's nose, but I'm not sure how well that came through.

If you wanted to convey more that the flame is coming from Zuko, I think you should change the angle just a wee bit to slant. Especially with the way his nose is.

Hmm, now that I think about it, maybe if you were going to go for a darker/edgier idea, this could be Zuko arguing with Aang about leaving Azula or Ozai alive. Zuko doesn't want one of them alive for whatever reason, and Aang is stopping him from making a very big mistake . . .

Oh wow. This is great. I love the lighting and the looks on their faces... Zuko seems passionate, but desperate for some reason. Aang just looks grim and stubborn. So what could they be fighting about? Hmmm... The grey background makes me think about a jail cell. So....
Zuko: Look at him, Aang. I thought he was lucky to get off with your mercy. But... look at him. He's just slowly wasting away -- he's dying. We have to end this.
Aang: No, Zuko. I told you, it's wrong to take a life. Even Ozai's.

Interesting subject and well-portrayed! I really like the shading from the fire, it gives off a nice light! That attention to detail is very nicely done!
One thing I might change is bringing Zuko's eye up just a tad bit. Human eyes tend to be closer in level with that inward arch between the bridge of the nose and the eyebrow.
One nice way of making sure the facial proportions are really good is to measure using the ears! I still use that method! The middle of the eye typically starts at the same level as the tip of the ear while the end of the nose is in level with the bottom of the earlobe.
All in all, nice work!

CRITIQUE! YAAY. Thanks muy mucho. No one ever helps me with these things. Indeed, I am having eyes issues with Zuko! I use proportions with realistic drawings, but I get confused with cartoon style things, so I'm glad you brought up the advice. I'm definitely weak in cartoon-esque styles! <3

Wow, I'm glad to be of help! Lol! I found it hard for the longest time too. Finally I just looked up about a million tutorials on facial proportions on DA and found some really good ones! They help with anything from cartoon to realistic!
