Description Persistent young Pterano is persistent.

I mostly did this as a test for Ada's father, who is the leader of their flock. When they learned that there was a new section of Big Water to live at, young Pterano begs Ada's father to let him join the flock so he can go too. And Ada leaving wasn't the only reason for him wanting to join, but also because he's at the age where he feels the need to get out into the world and see new things. Eventually, Ada's father is convinced and he decides to make Pterano his successor...which ends badly after Ada's death years later.

What I mean is that he got evicted from the flock when Ada's father started thinking that Ada's death was from Pterano being irresponsible in looking after her.

That's pretty sad though that Ada is only seen as a "producer" so to speak in her clan though.

Not really...exactly...sort of...
It's kind of like the kingdoms of the middle ages. Daughters of the king were only good for inter-marriage. Bleh.
