Ciara followed Isabella’s instructions, the Portuguese bombshell’s angry grunts in the squat rack quickly receding as she approached the locker room and pushed against the door. The Pantheon courier was impressed by the JSG’s workout area, spacious with like-new equipment, and the locker area was similarly roomy and fresh.

The only blemish Reilly made out was taped to a door, the printing paper’s hand-written red marker print warning “PLUMBING MALFUNCTION! Do NOT use the showers!” so as not to open.

Better get that sorted quick.

Ciara turned her critical eye back to the rest of the changing area. As she turned a corner, her gaze immediately fell upon the lady in blue further inward between two rows of lockers.

She sighed happily. “Vikki Ryan?”

“Fer sure!” the blue-haired star replied in a Valley Girl accent. The former champion seemed preoccupied, remaining fixated on her locker instead of turning to greet the courier. Not that Ciara was done taking in the view, the invitee more powerfully built than she had expected.

She’ll clearly be a threat in the tourney.

“I’m Ciara Reilly,” she identified, hoping the JSG star would show the same sort of recognition Isabella Garcia did during their meet, with none of the hot-to-cold treatment.

“I’m from Pantheon,” Ciara continued. “And, on behalf of Andy Law, it’s my pleasure to extend you an invitation to Pantheon’s Invitational Tournament.”

“AweSOME!” the strapping, up-talking, sapphire-maned fighter replied enthusiastically, though still fixated on something inside her locker. “Uh, Ciara? I’m blind as a bat without my blue contacts, and I know they’re in here somewhere...!”

“Say no more!” Reilly assured Ryan, momentarily pocketing her golden ticket.
