I recently found out that I've already posted 100 deviations. And after browsing my gallery, I've also found out that 90% of the contents have characters that are just.... standing around. So I thought I should start posting more stuff where people aren't just standing around. And I shall start with Sam!

So enjoy this rare vision of her dancing around like there's no tomorrow under the waning moonlight.

I think a dancing figure is one of the most hardest thing to draw without any reference(and especially for someone like me who has two ugly left feet). How to make the twist of the torso look natural, how to angle the hips, how to position her arms, how to make the entire pose dynamic and graceful... just so many things. Thanks to Delru for teaching me how to use flowing lines, they were such a big help! ^____^ I've never seen Sam dance so wild!

Drawn with a 0.5 mechanical pencil using a 2B lead. The background was done with gradient, burn and airbrush tools using Photoshop7.
