Am I on 7? I think this is seven.OMG I AM SO EXCITED BY HOW HE IS TURNING OUT!!! EEEEEE.
So I have Soundwave and Sunstreaker\'s heads done. Sunstreaker will probably STAY a head for a while... I just got the last three issues of Transformers: devastation.
I need to sand their faces to get it ready for the paint and buy some gesso to use as primer. These guys are going to be total kits. I'm going to cast them all in grey and you'll have to paint them the colors you want.
anyway, shown here are the mask, fins, small chevrons, hat thing, and Jazz's ears.
chevrons are waaaaay too wide. XD;; but then it\'s easier to cut them down than build them up if people want them larger.
hat thing has some holes in the front vent, so that has to be remolded. Damn it. X3
head design is loosely based on Hasbro/Takara's Transformers.

I have increasingly little time to get on the computer, but I must use some of that to see how your project is coming along. Impressed again. I love how interchangeable you've made your parts and I love the idea of a kit with so many choices. It will be a long time before I will have $ for your art pieces, but I definitely think they are worth every bit for the amount of love and joy you put into them. Good job, Batchi-cakes. Beautiful work.

I've been curious to ask you: Are you able to get by on sales of your work or is this purely a labor of love? (I imagine your materials are super-expensive, thereby precluding a living wage, but I don't know for certain.) I hope this is something you can use to make ends met. Living off an interest you love is the best way to live.
Wow, legs and arms? You're moving right along, aren't you? Your Machina are so reminiscent of Metropolis and Tron. Is it coincidental?

The metropolis is a little coincidental since I did look at Maria, but not that much. But Machina is really a cross between Tron and Arcee from the original Transformers movie. :3 I LOVED Arcee as a little girl.
I am able to live on what I make because my husband has a regular job. Between the two of us we make a decent enough living. Not able to save a whole lot every month, but we neither of really like to cook and so we eat out a lot. X3

Ah again with the Sunstreaker head jokes! Devastation 3 had to be one of the saddest thing I've ever read in my whole tf-fandom's life.
Dude these are freakin' awesome, are you sellin' them because they look so awesome Hasbro's gonna come and lock you away so you can't make better stuff then them! (cause dude these are way better then the g1 toys's faces, or lack there of in the minibot's cases)

I think it was saddest because he was upset that they were using him to hurt the other autobots! I was like "AWWW. Sunny DOES have a heart!" I wanted to hug his poor disembodied head! X3;;
I'll probably sell a couple, but not as transformers... my two will be transformers, just like my Machina is named Thundercracker. I was thinking up a backstory for the doll as I was sculpting. XD

We'll they are beautiful scuplts you could be a wonderful doll/toy maker! I wish I had those skills but I can only draw. Once I tried to make a dinosaur egg out of clay and the whole class made fun of it because it looked more like dino... poop.

Well apparently he plays a large part in Galavatron Spotlight but I can't seem to find that anywhere... even in the IDW store. But people talk about it like it's out so it must be somewhere right? I just wanted to read it because Sides was in it though. Don't really care much for Galvy.

I have to thank you for creating something doll-like that my boyfriend actually likes. xD I have tried so hard to get him to enjoy my doll hobby, which never worked, but when I showed him this he went all starry-eyed. :3
These are wonderful! I get excited everytime I see new pictures up and click them as fast as I can. Can't wait to see them completed! 8D
Is it bad that I think with the white headcap, Soundwave reminds me a bit of a panda? A... robot panda. Which is a fantastic concept in itself in my humble opinion... >.>;
