Das ist ein Wiener Kutscher eines Fiakers.
Er ruft ein Taxi, weil ihm seine Pferde durchgegangen sind.

Warum es so ist, mag mir wohl niemand beanwtorten können, doch genau dieser Moment erinnert mich an Doctor Who.
An Zeitreisen und unterschiedliche Zeitebenen.
Und so sieht der Mann, hier auf der rechten Seite, auch aus, als wäre er geradewegs aus der Tardis gestiegen und in unser Jahrhundert gekommen. Interessanter Moment und Kontrast.
Gerade weil die Dame hinter ihm fast schon neugierig schaut, abwartend vielleicht und sogar der Herr auf der linken Seite wirkt erstaunt, wenn nicht gar überrascht -alles zumindest aus meiner Sicht.

What I find so cool here (as I often find with your work) is the contrast - the man looks almost like he's from another era with that hat, and there he is with the modern cell phone. Priceless.

He is a "Fiaker" ... he drives tourists around town in a carriage with horses, they have this dress code.

We don't have anything like that around here, although in New York City (about an hour from me) they do have men who take tourists in horse drawn carriages. I don't think most of them dress quite so historically though. This is very cool. I really enjoy getting to see Vienna through your work.
