well she's a witch obviously and is turning from her tree form ,that she uses to disguise herself during the daytime , to her owl like form
The bats that had been sleeping in that tree(these bats live in trees ) are just waking up to find that their house is starting to move again
its okay they had to wake up anyways to feed on bugs and whatnot
