Dang Thu Mai.Pretty much the final design for the main character of Derelict, my next webcomic. Or at least in her full outfit. She'll change/ add/ remove bits and pieces as she needs to. Textile artist Marcusstratus's design style has been a big influence on clothing for this comic.
I'm lucky enough to have made a lot of the pre-pro work for it into a studio project at school so I have the ability to work on it some alongside the BA final around.

The desing is pretty. I could imagine some gifted textile designer, such as your master of influence, would do this.

What's her ethnic group? The name sounds Thai, but could also be any of the Indochinese languages. But I do know it doesn't sound like any dialect of Chinese I know.
So her name's awkward too. X/ Can't place it.

I'll admit I was sad that PD ended so prematurely, but I'm sure that what ever is planned ahead will be just as, if not, greater than PD.
