Felt like drawing something cute for a change. I hate to admit it, but I love "Happy Tree Friends."It's adorable one moment, and very violent & gross the next. I don't know what it is about that, I like. (I normally don't dig such graphic violence.)
But hey, they're always alive & fine in the next episode, and there is some pretty funny moments in the show. (Disco Bear & Lumpy are hilarious.)
Anyways, here's my favorite character, Flaky the nervous, dandruff-laden porcupine. (Or is she a hedgehog?) I wasn't originally going to put this up, but sence I haven't been drawing much recentlly, up it goes.
PS: For the love of God, please DO NOT debate, or argue about what Flaky's gender is. There's enough of those arguments on DA & Youtube as it is.

I like HTF mainly because it's characters are Made of Plasticine and toilet paper for their skins, so they can be Uber-expendable(they can insta-gibbed by even toy gun and they can be worse than useless, even when they're used as Meat Shields), unless when their name is either Flippy, Splendid, or Buddhist Monkey

Lol, you could have told by my avi that it's cool. but heres one thing that ticks me off.
They are LACKING on new ones.
New ones Nowadays : Breaking wind (Yet, ANOTHER splendid cartoon. + WTF?! He's reading twilight? Well, the books were ok but the movies sucked!) and A lumpy cartoon which i forgot the name of. I thought Lumpy choking on a donut was the most GRUESOME thing i have seen on HTF so far. Lumpy, You silly moose, you. XD

lol I love Lumpy. Some of his injuries/demises are a bit hard to watch though.
I haven't watched HTF in a long time, maybe I'll give 'em a watch later. (And yeah, they kinda lack on new episodes.)

yeah ppl say flaky is a girl cuz of her voice some ppl think flaky is a guy sometimes i wanna go ahead and support stuff that i like (THIS is not one of them) + why flaky? its the same thing with nights too even ask marasuke he made a rant about it

I think perhaps it doesn't matter what gender Flaky is.
Admittedly, I kinda prefer to think of Flaky as a "girl" due to the fact there arn't many female characters in HTF overall.

Maybe about 4 now... (including lammy) well maybe flaky is a girl but she has no eyelashes so its hard to tell

As far as carto0n violence goes, I prefer the Tex Avery/Roger Rabbit style where it's not really violent violent, unlike HTF which is ultraviolent. That probably sounds odd coming from me. Or not.

Yeah, I didn't like HTF, at first, but then I got used to it. It's kinda like "Itchy & Scratchy" from the Simpsons, though a bit more graphic & bloody.
But yeah, I kinda prefer the more "clean-cut" kind of toon violence to.

I like Happy Tree Friends cause the animation's pretty cool and it probably has the biggest sandbox of fanstuff then any other flash toon! Hundreds of Fan characters and comics. To be honest, I actually perfer the fancomics' stories over the offical show's stories. Most of the offical show's plots are pretty bland.
Anyway, I don't think there's a single fan who doen't love Flaky. Maybe it's the gender debate, his personality or his design! It's different with each fan and even I have my own reasons.
Good job drawing Flaky by the way. Are planning to draw more flash animation related characters?

Mabey, mabey not. I wouldn't mind doing more HTF fanart, or something. I'm also quite fond of Homestar Runner.
I've never seen these "fan-comics" you speak of, but personally, nothing beats the official stuff for me. I don't think HTF was ever ment to have very deep plots, other then the characters being very cute & accident-prone.

Boy was I shocked when I found out that Flaky was a girl. A female cartoon character...with freaking dandruff.
The best part about HTF has to be the sound effects when someone gets a lethal, blood spewing wound. That "SQULWISH" sound is so deliciously addictive.
