I want to stress that this is a chibithat's not her body type--shes actually quite tall, so about halfway between pearl and garnet

Interesting character set up here. With her powers and her bio, she sounds like she is on a higher level of existence than an average or above average human. She comes across as if she was once a human, but something changed and now her nature has been altered and therefore her personality has adapted as well.
It's almost like, to use this analogy, Lightning from Final Fantasy XIII-2, being taken to a place of higher power and she ascends to an almost Archangelic position, and she changes because of her new position. Is that what you were going for?

she's a steven universe gem character, so since she was from the diamond authority, she would be of a higher level to any human considering how advanced their technology is. When she was stranded on Earth for several thousand years, she surrounded herself with human culture and there you go.
