when i make characters i always use the measuring wall a free prop from cg share. the three characters are the correct height to their charcters in the game stats. my female characters vary between 5' Sam to 5'11" Floaidhbut usually around the the mids between 5 and 6 feet tall.

I never bothered about measurements, but this seems pretty like a pretty correct way of doing things. One note ... Ryu has some odd green parts all over his body and I personally think the veins and such are a bit too much.

it does make too much difference if they are on their own in portraits mostly but next to other peaple it really helps.
As for ryu it was a test render and a first for him. The ss setting was not right and he came out with glowing red skin. the green patches are probably where i removed the red on the masked layer and didnt see the green

Well done! I do same because in Daz females are usually too tall. I try to have them in measure I know ( from 155 to 170cm) but some more tall. Males bigger. I really like this image to show variance. Edit... got interrupted: In North europe females are quite same size with male but when I go to Central asia it changes a lot. Swedish/Norwegian/Dannis/(German)/Finnish girl would be giant there.

Here in the uk we are all different hights. my sister is tiny. me and youngest brother are 5,7 and middle brother 5,10. my wife is 5,5 and her sis is 5,10.Ā
I guess the uk has so much diversity in the past and the present. celts,romans which brought the whole empire with them,Saxons,Normans, vikings. Romany gypsies, then later Jews, africans from the mainland and the indies. Indians and Pakistanis and on and on
any way my wife has just informed the average hight here in the uk is 5,4 for women

UK really have had blast of diversity. I'm half Georgian-Finn 187cm. Wife is Armenian 156 (small). Finland woman are about 160cm and man about my size. I like this picture showing sizes very well-
