ugh...
oh, not much, i tend to lean towards the flat colours with shades on darker/lighter on top, like when i colour digitally.
i do mix sometimes though. rare!

So the colours out the tube? I liked the colours in your previous paintings, but I think this is two steps ahead again-really lovely work.

yes, these are all out of gouache ( AS brand )
and acrylic toobs (those JO sonja artist's colours)
you know the ones? i went on a spree with mel one time, buying them up like crazy.

Haha-yup-I've used the ol Jo Sonja ones when I was painting some sculptures last year-really nice colours & it has that nice, thick effect.
Look forward to seeing more of these
