I remember when digital cameras first came out. Then, it was cell phones. Us pro photographers thought we would be out of business in just a few years.

The market changed, for sure. But, those of us with the skills to make good pictures with film, adapted and adopted and moved on.

This feels different.

I think inside of a year, or two, anyone will be able to just describe what they want and an AI algo will create it - better than 99.99% of us could even think about doing - and deliver it in about 1 second. For now, the algos still struggle with several things. But, buddy... it won't be much longer until flawless photo-real images of anything you can imagine will make guys like me totally irrelevant.

A year, or two from that time, will be videos, made to order in the same flawless manner.

I do like the creativity the current state of AI offers. I never would have thought of having four breasts on a woman, or having a hand jutting out from a leg... that is in turn attached to her back. But, mock all we want. This technology is incredible and soon we will all be able to make any fantasy images come to life with realism we can't even imagine right now.

I'm going to continue creating works for now. There are concepts and nuances the AI algos don't yet understand. For now, anyway. I will also post some of my AI work along with my 'home grown' creations.
