thewhole you mess with spock, you mess with kirk thing remind me of Balance of Terror where Stiles insults Spock and then Kirk gets all intimidating and basically tells to guy to STFU and everyone's face is like 'ooooh ur in it now'. this is great.

...funny how there's less food on kirk's plate in the second panel, and then more in the third...XD and props for the typical enterprise weird colored food stuff, and giving spock a salad

Guh, food fail...
No no, wait...! the food thing can be easily explained... see, Kirk ate some of that stuff between the first and second panel, right, and then between the second and the third Spock discovered those colourful chunks hidden in his salad, OK, 'cos the synthesizer hasn't been working properly, see, and he doesn't want to eat them because they are sort of meaty, and he gives them to Kirk, because it's illogical to waste food.
See, I told you it could be easily explained. It makes PERFECT sense.
