Justin Law of Soul Eater riding his way across the Mojave Desert in Nevada.Maybe SE isn't that famous yet, there's just no fan art of the priestly Justin Law on the internets! D:
He's Shinigami-sama's living guillotine Death Scythe, and he beheads in the name of God. He owns a buggy with a coffin trailing at the back, and he listens to heavy music all the time (probably Christian metal). How can he be not cool?

aahhh~ i so so so agree! SE is a classic indie series. with jokes and characters that the fans beg for, while maintaining the aura of a quality series in the blind spot of the popular world who wouldn't notice until it was animated. lets pray that its doesnt become so popular that it takes over lives =_= (KHR anyone?)

Shaman King had so energy and charisma, so sad to see it incomplete at the end and the anime wasnt nearly as good as the comic :/ (tho, rumor has it the story will continue once again soon!!)
Soul eater is headed towards a good path.. a game is scheduled to come out in japan! and the story is still bloody good, so im not too worried. all we can do is obsess and live in fandom haha!

Lol, I heard about the story being continued too. But I dunno, it seems that the Shaman King artist needs a break to gather inspiration as his ideas are kinda running dry lately. I read one of his latest stuff "Juuki Ningen Jumbor" and it didn't reach the full potential like SK. Here's what Wikipedia had to say about that new series:
"The series was canceled after ten issues and released in one volume with thirty five pages of maps, setting and character data..."
I have faith towards Soul Eater, but I also do fear for it as all series with a huge cast becomes very hard to manage. Let's see what the future holds!

ahh! but the larger the cast, the more variety! just look are naruto... god knows thats a GIGANTIC franchise, whose popularity can be seen anywhere.
they have so many characters, and it gives fans more choices haha
i dont think the Soul Eater cast is too big. i think its the perfect size in fact
also, I think your choice of comparing SK with SE is perfect, because they both had such good storylines and great characters! but SE will shoot pass it hahah xD

Heheh, agreed; Kishimoto is one of those who knows how to maintain his characters and let them remain interesting but evolving. Bleach also has a sizable cast, but the Arrancars are lacking in character IMO. The Soul Society captains were much more cooler. *n*
Yeap, that's true. I guess SE isn't that big a cast now. I just hope SE don't grow too big and unmanageable, 'cause there's always a danger of that. SK was perfect sized before their flight to the Shaman King Tournament, too~
I'm all for SE now, but SK will remain a sweet memory! XD
