Whaat?? Another Mha oc? Damn right! Okay I've actually been working on this one since I watched the first episode, I've just only just had a solid idea of what I want in terms of her design and was waiting to see if there was a quirk like the one I have in mind.

I'm going to update my other designs at some point to include a full bio to save me time making new posts later.

Motivations: Summer wants to be the hero she never had, she lives to help children who are in need and can’t defend themselves.
Quirk: Projection
Abilities: Summer can use her hands and eyes to project light-based images. At this moment she uses predawn cards to create the projection, though she is aiming to expand to create images from her own head.

If Summer concentrates she can cause the projections to materialise into a solid substance which she can use for defence, attack etc.

Weaknesses: The images can be simple and rough but must be easily distinguishable by other people. Mori’s eyes are also sensitive to the light and she is prone to migraines. Materialized objects do not take the properties of said object, Summers projections tend to all be the same material and solidify, the strength depends on the amount of energy Summer can put in but all creations can be shattered.

|Backstory|
Summer’s parents were not in a healthy relationship, even before she was born. Her father was violent and controlling until he abandoned the family when Summer was 5, leaving her mother in debt in a country she couldn’t leave. Her mother did everything she could to support their family and while it was tough, she did eventually succeed in reclaiming her own life.

Around the time her father left Summer discovered her quirk, which she used to put on magic shows for her mother when she was sad. This was something she continued to do as she got older, but she extended this to everyone the young girl thought would need it; she’d go to care homes, hospitals, random strangers. The positive response led to a desire to become a hero so she could help everyone.
|Personality|

Summer is a girl who loves people and will do anything for other people, especially children. She lives to make other people smile and would genuinely give people everything she owns if it led to them feeling better. Her selflessness is her biggest strength and weakness; she will happily be taken advantage of in the hopes she made a difference. She’s a great friend to have with how compassionate and understanding she is but she’s also over empathetic which can make it difficult for her to give advice or aid.
In social situations Summer is bubbly and tends to lead conversations, asking lots of questions about the person she’s talking to. She likes to make people included and appreciated, so while she leads conversations she doesn’t tend to say a lot. However, if ask her about her favourite topics like painting, sci fi, roleplay games etc it is very difficult to get her to stop.

Creativity is a defining trait of Summer, she loves to paint and design things which is becomes obvious when she shows the card deck she made for her quirk. This creativity has made her quite a busy person as she always has a project on the go. She will learn that she is creative in terms of combat strategies later into her story.

Summer is easily intimidated by adults, especially men. People who are loud or generally have a demanding presence (no matter how nice they are) makes her very anxious. Everyday she works to deal with these anxieties, but she does acknowledge that this will be an issue for her becoming a hero.

Summers hair is naturally blonde; she dyes her hair regularly and fills in her eyebrows.
Her look was inspired by power rangers, retro futurism, magical girls etc
