New Beginnings' Festival ! (ONGOING)Welcome to the New Beginnings' festival !
Sprinkle is happy to invite you to what he decided to name "New Beginnings' Festival" ! Its purpose is to give people a chance to begin their journey in the JS world, by getting a JS (or more than one) without spending a point of dollar..! It's my way to say thank you for supporting this strange species. I hope you will all have fun..!
This is a festival to celebrate multiple thing !
- We reached over 100 members !
- The group's (late) 1 year aniversary !
- The (late) new year !
- All things JS related !
It is my way of saying thank you for supporting the Jape Snake species.
There will be multiple things happening for you to participate in ! Don't have a JS yet ? Here is your chance to obtain one (or more) of your own..!

Your entries will earn you some JapeGems, and the entries can be used as a raffle ticket as well..! (The raffles are not posted atm. To see when they will be, look at the journal above)
-Two DTAs ? Why is that so..?
The first one (Sea knight) is open for EVERYONE. You're new ? You can enter. Already got your own Jape Snakes(s) ? You can enter. An admin, a guest designer ? You can enter too ! As for the second cutie (Pond fishy), it is ONLY open for those who do not currently own a Jape Snake..! This is to give a bigger chance to those who do not have a Jape Snake yet to get one of their own.
-Why are these cuties marine JS ?
I only was told recently that this is not something everywhere in the world, but here in Québec (french speaking Canadian province), instead of saying "April fools !" we say "poisson d'Avril !" which literally translates to "April's fish !". We stick paper fish on each others' backs, and if you're not careful enough, you can end up with over 50 fish on your back..!

This one is only for FTO (first time owners)..!
Rules :
- Be a member of Snake-things (Join requests are auto-accepted)
- Serious buyers only ! AKA have the money / points / etc.
- Actually use your snake(s) please. I put a lot of love and effort into making them, and I consider them my children, even when sold. It saddens me when they are added to a huge sta.sh / toyhou.se full of trade fodders.
- Modify the markings, the colors (You will need to send the redesigned version for approval)
- Add / remove accessories
- Give it a name / gender / personality / bio / etc. (If I wrote one, feel free to change it !)
- You may resell / trade your armanguis, but please TELL ME BEFORE AND TO WHO.
- When buying, you will get a high resolution version and a version without the text (if any) !
- ((If you adopt a snake and wish to add it to your toyhou.se, you may credit either my DA or my toyhou.se , I don't mind either !))
You may NOT :
- Change it's traits
- Claim the species as yours
- Claim the artwork / original design as yours
- Change it so that it doesn't even look like its species
DTA rules :
- I'm sorry but for this DTA I will only accept drawings ! So no plush, sculptures or written pieces ! ;;
- Entries will be judged on effort, not on talent ! We will look at your other deviations to see if you actually put effort into it.
- A written bio / personnality can help ! ; )
- Please submit your entries to this folder ! If it is not submitted, it won't count.
- The winner of the DTA will be allowed to use the artwork you have made of the JS. If you do not want the winner to use the artwork for personnal uses, then either don't enter or say it in the description of your deviation.
- If not enought people enter the event, the design will be kept, while prizes will be randomly rewarded to those who have participated. I just don't the see point of hosting a DTA if only one or two persons enter it.
- This DTA will close April 30 2018 11:59 CST. Winner will be announced the day after or so.
