I found it at a discount fabric store in Bakersfield California, while visiting a friend. It's got a a 2 way stretch, but the vinyl part is very matte. I have no idea what the exact name is, sorry.

Wow, much respect. Did you start with like a Zentai cat suit then mod it? I only ask because there are a few flight suit-like cosplays I'd love to do but wouldn't know where to start

I started off by making a leotard pattern and then attaching the burgundy sleeves (come to my wrists) and legs (go to my knees) to the leotard. The red parts of the sleeves are slip-ons over my limbs. The gloves are sepearte for the arm sleeves to minimize time spent getting in the costume.
