Description
This is a shot taken in Trafalgar Square in London, obviously of some fountains there. Now, the image...I did not manipulate this image. This is the first time I have used Velvia film by Fuji. I know it is ideal for landscapes, but I wanted to try it out anyways. It is a very slow film at ISO 50, and I wonder if anyone can shed any light (no pun intended) on the colour range that has been produced. Is it normal for it to look like this, or does it look like it's been cross-developed? Your help is much appreciated for those proficient in 35mm photography

Thanks alot love. That's due to cross processing the film.

Sorry if this shows up twice... my comp is messing around.
That's such a pretty picture! It's amazing what a difference accidents can make sometimes.
You've got a great gallery, by the way.

i see what you mean about cross procesing, looks like the analouge equiv of tungsten light meetering
is it a tungsten balenced film?

No. Don't think so. It's Fujichrome Velvia slide film.

If it's ISO 50 then it would actually be a very slow film. I don't know anything about that film therefore I'm not sure why it produced that turquoise tint, but it doesn't really mess this image up. I wouldn't want it to produce this type of color all of the time though obviously.

Yeah, I agree about the colour thing, just happened to work in this photo. The other 32 exposures were all crap. And you were right about the film speed, got it the wrong way round.
