Description
Reworking of Dr. Fate's costume. I got inspired by a documentary I was watching and decided that I wanted to push the Egyptian aspect of the Doctor Fate character further in the costume. I'll most likely put out another one with a full body, this was to primarily work out the details of his torc.UPDATE 1/22/11 - I found the original of this sketch when I was going through a pile of stuff, and decided to play with it some more. Made the cloak more dimensional as the flatness of it was really bothering me, and added a bit more shading & detail. I've actually begun a painting of this piece as well, which I'll post when complete.

That is one killer sketch of Doctor Fate, and I seriously believe that this redesign could easily replace the current one! The greater emphasis on the ancient Egyptian aspect really works rather well for the character! Excellent work!

Very cool! That Egyptian chest piece really works well, and like you said highlights the Egyptian side of the character.
