Description This is a continuation of my exploration of the absolute basics of iso' perspectives and solid scenery units like steps. (I'm still in self-teaching mode)

When piled up like Lego, the steps can appear to imply invisible new floors above and below the ground/horizon. The fact that they appear 3D at all still amazes me ... it takes me back to a book on optical illusions dad showed me when I was a kid ...

The checker floor also doubles as a useful tracing guide ( [link] )

Again - there are plenty of imperfections here - and a slight nod towards lighting shades - I've still got some distance to travel.
Nonetheless I thought it was quite interesting as an abstract piece in its own right.
