You deserves it!!! I think cosplaying takes so much more effort then a lot of things, and I hate it when people go unappreciated. Especially when they've, IDK, made their outfit from scratch or styled their wig perfectly.
Heh, sorry I'm rambling on.
I guess cos that is how I'd want to be treated when I cosplay for the first time soon... OTL

Well, regardless of what you cosplay, I'm sure it'll be amazing. When people actually care about what they do, and love what they do, and put a lot of heart into it, it shows. Even if you don't have as much time and/or money as you wish you did to make a cosplay, the thing that matters most is that you LOVE it. <3

And thanks. Yeah, we're a bunch of perfectionists, which means when it comes to certain things, we're snobs... but those things tend to be that... we work really, really, really hard on ours, and when other people don't appreciate it or they themselves don't put forth even minimal effort, and then like...I don't know. :< we just take it seriously? Some people don't like that, I guess.
;\ I mean, I know it's not a job, and I know for some people, they're just having fun... but we like to do it as best we can... *shrug*

I'm cosplying as Olette from KH2 for the convention I'm going to tomorrow.

And that is very true.
Everything had to be prefect for my cosplay, from the colour of the shoelaces to wearing fake eye lashes to make my eyes look more anime like.
The people who don't take it so srsly, they're the ones who put a bad name to cosplaying.
And then the people who try their hardest get less appreciation T_T
