Description
This is actually something that happened today. Me and my friend Β were talking about food and we ended up comparing pot sizes (because there's no way a "Cozido Γ Portuguesa" would fit in that little thing)
I'm not familiar with how things are with Germany, but Port is definitely a big eater. He loves food and takes it very, VERY seriously

There's a trick to eating those large meals. It's mainly eating small dosages at a time and allow your stomach to slowly digest everything during the meal, rather than only at the end (also you need to control your appetite). That's why meals are such an important social event and a good time to have conversations

As much as we complain, I don't think we (Porties) would ever be able to trade good food and company over efficiency

well, cultures are different here going to school meanwhile is like being under the command of a drill sergeant <.<
i mean, we recieved in grade 10 a final test from 2006 for practice - simple shit, even for me and i'm very bad in maths. after that we got a version from 2011 and all were like "ajkhskgs what's this?!" because it was 100times harder. moreover you have to be always at service for your company all the time and shit. they meanwhile really exaggerate. they say "germans must get better because otherwise companies will take workers from other countries!" - true, but hell, we're still only humans, not machines >.<

I absolutely hate that type of shitty attitude and emotional blackmail D<
Around here we have our share of abuse. We're still quite broken from our dictatorship and there's many people who would rather stay quiet and endure than to snap bad and put the entire family at risk (especially with how things are nowadays). But if employers stretch the rope too much and try to make stupid demands like working 10-12 hours a day with no overtime pay (it happened to me several times), then people will quietly fight back and undermine everything
*as a culture we're too undisciplined and rebellious to take orders easily, especially from those who don't earn our respect or try to act above everyone else*

No, no, you don't need to
It's just with stuff like this I tend to raise a racket because it's not alright and people should be aware Β

It should be probably easier to find the good stuff at a local grocer, rather than at a large supermarket. Those tend to put a little too much emphasis on good looking produce instead of good quality ones (for example here we actually favor cherries pecked by birds because they tend to be the sweetest)Β
