I was not caught this way, but I can relate...and I'm sorry. Nice capture of the feeling though, the disconnected one worded lines, add to...I dunno the confusion?...of what it is like, when all of a sudden everything is different because the inside of you, the part no one should have seen, is being invaded.

parents should read this and realize that you have rights too. I know we get nervous and feel we have no control, but if you spend time and have a good relationship, this would not even cross their minds. I am a parent I would never do this. Why?? I am 40 and my mom still looks through my things. great poem....life can really suck, but it is what you do with it afterwards that matters.

I have never been trhough this personally, and I'm sorry your have, sometimes you think parents suck but maybe in the end it'd be for the best? Im 14 and I duno whats to come, but I think that maybe things we see as a shitty thing can turn into a blessing.
