Me: Tah dah! Violà. 2 months of work.
Satan: ................WOW! I mean WWWOOOWWWWWW!!! 145, 146, 147....
Me: Thank you, thank you.... but uh....what are you counting?
Satan: THE NUMBER OF OPPORTUNITIES YOU HAD TO PUT TIDDIES IN BUT DIDN'T.
Me: *face palm*
Satan: I count no less than 148 chances to paint in some tiddies and you filled EVERY SINGLE LAST !@#$%^&* ONE OF THEM WITH MALE BUTTOCKS.
Me: -____-
Satan: MALE BUTTOCKS IS THE POLAR OPPOSITE OF TIDDIES. You are a bad artist.
Me: *sigh* FINE. My next piece will have tiddies in it. Okay?
Satan: NO. TOO LITTLE, TOO LATE. YOU FAIL AT TITTIES! *stamp* (F)!
Me: >8{

With creatures that stand unguligrade, I agree with you, but 2 legged digitigrade could be possible. In fact, that's what people do when they tiptoe. Humans are able to walk plantigrade and digitigrade, but we obviously prefer plantigrade movement. The advantages of walking digitigrade are making less noise and easy turning on our feet (it would be difficult to turn your foot when it is on the ground, b ut when you stand on the ball of the foot, it creates less friction to spin).
But I get your point, because this all matters less when you're creating anthropomorphic creatures. They don't exist as far as we know, so we can use our imagination and I think you did a great job on that.

I LOVE his piece, It makes me glad to see that you took my advice and used that frog as a sort of mascot, the turtle is ADORABLE. The fox with large ears in the right hand side in the back reminds me a lot of the style i would have my character ( seekingwater.deviantart.com/ar… ) drawn with. it remind sme of my character.

Thats... Quite a lot of changes. Less saturation, more details.
But I'm pretty sure, that is all about the one froggie. ^_^

I wonder how many people will notice I replaced the orange frog with derp froggie. So far, you're the first and only.

It sits in perfect spot. There are way too many distracting points around it, so I found it accidentally, when just stared at picture, thinking about colors. And whoa... Something familiar! Or someone's familiar. ^_^

Oh wow. I love the crazy amount of detail you put into this. The paintings hanging up in the background, the jewelry on the individual characters, the random little critters. The post-it notes and the stickers on the pencil boxes. You can look at this for a long time and still be noticing things!

This really reminds me of the times I took in figure drawing lessons. While the model was not exactly nude, all of us were focused on drawing the person based on the perspective we were given. Fun times, and it was also captured in this drawing. Amazing work, and I like some of the shown variations shown!

MAN I just gotta comment again now XD
The changes are all good in my opinion. I can see them all clearly even though they don't change the feeling of the picture too much - the most major change I saw was the fox ears and nose where there were none and also minus the horns - all on the girl to the far right. And some color changes to outfit or fur color on many of the creatures. Honestly they make it flow even more, without that 'blending' effect that can occur when colors are softened or made more earth tone. The increase in detail in some spots is also noticeable but not overwhelming and just adds feeling that was not there or not as strong before. Such as the change in color of the duck-like creature in the dragonoid's tail and the little furry mammalian-like creature on the chalkboard.
Overall everything else about it is still amazing and the touchups really improved upon something that was already magnificent. /nod

Thanks. ^__^ I think with the older version, there was just too much clashing color and not enough cohesion. I tried to maintain some of that diversity while bringing the overall piece together a little more. Was harder to do than I would have thought. XD Anyway, thanks again.

New one definitely looks more natural,
I like the new lighting and most of the colors, for some reason I like
the colorful rodent on the left a little better.
As for other changes, like the head of the bunny girl, the tail of the giraffe and the unicorn being allowed to draw, too,
certainly improvements
Won't claim to see all the changes but from what I can tell, well done!

I could swear that when I looked at this before there was someone, maybe down on the floor, making a sculpture rather than a drawing. Am I going nuts?
Unrelatedly, that dragon is hawt!!

Really? My count was only up to 42.
Then again, I only counted when it would be anatomically correct to add boobs...
You are definitely taking the right approach; you are expanding your skills and learning new tricks.
A good practice for lighting is the balloon trick:
Take a balloon or other ball ish object and place it on a surface in a closed room, then try moving the lighting around and examining how the appearance of the ball changes-- including it's shadow. Eventually you can try things like toys or dolls.
Keep on practicing!
