Description
the day begins and you findit all slipping away
through the cracks
of the fading sunlight
sinking perception
in the dim twilight
we find the ephemeral glimpse
of the future
dancing like a flame
at the tip of a sun
setting blood red upon distant horizon
exploding before dying
the dusk consuming an endless sky
vast in its secrets
endless in its mystery
the nights sweet temptress
greets us with quicksilver smile
and embraces us in starlight
covering herself in a cloak of
gray clouds as if
her naked beauty would
kill us all

Oh wow... This is amazing. I especially love the line about the 'quicksilver smile'. One teeny tiny little thing I didn't like, just because I'm picky... you said endless twice in the space of three lines. But really, I didn't even notice it the first time I read through the poem.
