Awesome shot; But I am with you on this one, the viel is perfect. Yes "traditionally" the viel would cover the nose; But with that lower part of your face exposed, looks more like your coming out of a an invisible cloak. By doing so, I think it really adds to the title "beyond the invisible." Because by having 3/4s of your face shown, it makes it look like your are emerging from out of the invisible. Plus, I have seen my fair share wemon in arabic countries with full viel on, and its really more or less a chain of tradition that limits thier rights. Another way of looking at this is "I dare to lower the viel"; Which brings even more meaning to the pic. Keep breaking the rules; I like it.

this is really awesome, and I am sure there isn't much I can say that other's haven't already said, but... I really love the strong contrasts, and the way that the lighting and color make your eyes specifically, along with your skin, seem lightly bronze-like... it's got an amazing effect on your eyes!

I do also think that the veil should cover the nose, so that we could focus on the eyes. And the face should be more centered, there's too many blackness on the image and it's distracting.

Wow, well this is lovely. I really love the mystery behind this, and the softness of the picture. But traditionally the veil (i don't know the proper name) covers the nose. And i think that it would both make the picture flow better, and add more mystery if you couldn't see the nose. It just looks like she's gagged rather than the middle eastern type feel that this is somewhat giving off.

i know...they can't show the face...it is a question of respect....and its kinda cool that thing....cause....even the most ugly person...can have a little of mystery
