I understand everything except the very last step. I don't get why you added another circle and connected the lines to that circle. Could you explain that?

BlackHatGuy In reply to laurenbaker0508 [2013-02-05 23:47:15 +0000 UTC]

The outside circle is the sentence circle, and the lines can really connect anywhere. Here's a more detailed guide: [link]

BlackHatGuy In reply to Falling-Into-Chaos [2013-02-03 22:31:21 +0000 UTC]

It should be its own program. Which one did you download?

Thank you so much for this. I now know two circular languages. Circular Gallifreyan and Bionicle! 100 points to Griffindor for pure nerdiness!

malizlewa In reply to Andrew-Kramer [2013-04-02 06:35:05 +0000 UTC]

Bionicle is a helluva lot easier to read and write. Me and my friends used to exchange messages using the Bionicle language years ago.

Im keen to learn Gallifreyan though

how do you use the Translator I downloaded it, but it was just 1 .java and 1 .jar. files.

You should be able to open the .jar file.

kody3000 In reply to ??? [2013-01-23 01:04:51 +0000 UTC]

im not quite sure what the lines are for at the end. im sorry, i guess im not that great of a learner

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

BlackHatGuy In reply to kody3000 [2013-01-23 12:36:05 +0000 UTC]

The number of straight lines coming out of a letter is part of what tells you what letter it is: for instance, a T has no lines, but an S has three.

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

kody3000 In reply to BlackHatGuy [2013-01-24 02:35:54 +0000 UTC]

yes i understand that, but the length of the lines is still confusing me. is it artistic or required to make them a certain length?

👍: 0 ⏩: 2

Jacksoboy In reply to kody3000 [2013-01-24 03:04:36 +0000 UTC]

Artistic. Sizes make no difference except that consonants have to be around the same size as each other, and vowels have to be smaller. The rest is art.

👍: 0 ⏩: 0

BlackHatGuy In reply to kody3000 [2013-01-24 03:03:04 +0000 UTC]

Nope, they can be any length you want them to be!

SimplyKaren In reply to ??? [2013-01-20 18:10:32 +0000 UTC]

Why after writing the word is there two new circles outside of it (the one with for indents and the full one) and how do you know which lines to extend all the way to the edge of the outer circles, and which ones stay inside the circle. Also, is that little circle at the bottom left in the indent on the circle punctuation?

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

BlackHatGuy In reply to SimplyKaren [2013-01-21 03:04:08 +0000 UTC]

• Those circles are the sentence circles. They're around every sentence.
• Lines can extend however far you want.
• Yes, it's punctuation.
