Palkia has a good typing too. It's only weak to dragon type moves up until Gen 6, in which it will be weak to fairy also.

Palkia may only have one weakness, but it also only resists three types, and has no immunities. Dialga is weak to two types, but resits ELEVEN types, and is immune to another. Steel is also resistant to Fairy, so they'll be tied for number of weaknesses.

That's true. Dialga also is immune to sandstorm and resistant to stealth rock and toxic spikes, three things Palkia doesn't have. It's physical defense is also higher, making it easier to survive most ground and fighting attacks. Palkia's trump card is it's water typing, which allows it to perform very well in the rain with STAB water moves. It's also a little bit faster, which can help it out-speed threats sometimes. So they both have their own strengths and weaknesses that make them useful in different situations.

They're both cool, but I'll always use Steel-type as my go-to. It's hard to beat those defenses.

Yeah, most steel types are pretty strong, and a lot of them have really cool designs like Magnezone, Metagross, Skarmory, and Aggron.

I agree. I picked Hydreigon for its sheer coolness factor Also, I intentionally left out those markings. My reasons being that even without them it's still recognizable as Hydreigon as long as I keep key characteristics such as the 3 heads and the wings, and I just think they look ridiculous (I mean come on, they look like overalls or something)

Well in this case they're not arms. My take is that it's a hydra (meaning those are actual heads) and that it has feet.

We're all entitled to our opinions ^^ Personally I've never used any of these, not even Hydreigon. (I'm always too lazy to train Dragons) But to me, Hydreigon just has the most coolness factor.

yeah... i can't attest to how that hydra handles (still wanna train one) but they are awesome.
Any rate, part of my love for flygon was my sapphire nuzlocke. can't nuzlocke with a poke and still hate it. especially when they ohko a Metagross.

Those actually aren't his arms (at least in my rendition of Hydreigon). It actually has 3 heads (like a hydra), but the 2 side ones can act as arms if need be.
