There's no way I'm gonna get to rigging these soon but I thought that I should at least post them so that someone else could try rigging them in the meantime.

Okay, I was never a big fan of MagnaAngemon's pointy helmet but at least he was a decent digimon design. Then there is that monstrosity!
That, other than Davis, is one of the reasons why Season 2 is my least favorite. I mean, come on! I could have come up with a better DNA design than that. Make him Angedillomon or something! Angemon has always been one of my favorite digimon, why did they mess him up like that!

Biblical lore makes it clear that angels can actually look strange and non-human. They aren't exclusively winged humans like Hollywood shows, but can take all manners of shapes. Case in point: Cherubim and Ophanim and Seraphim in general. Shakkoumon is not 'messed up' for an angel: He, along with the Pokemon Baltoy and Claydol, are visually based on ancient artifacts called Shakōki-dogū. In english, that means "light obscuring device clay figure"; perfectly in line with what Shakkoumon looks like and does in 02.
Hopefully that clarified a few details about that Digimon.

I think you completely missed the point that my opinion is that it looks ugly compared to his previous form.
I had no confusion as to the design's origins nor did I care. I don't like it. Period.
And even that is irrelevant because the reason why this page is even here is for people who want to download the models for MMD.

I remember how disappointed my sis and I were when we saw Shakkoumon.
We were expecting some sort of Armored Sephiroth when he DNA Digivolved with Ankylomon. Shakkoumon looks so fuckin lame lol

More like "the other kind of Sephiroth." Sephiroth from FF is not figuratieve. I think you should propbably watch this, it's very informative: www.youtube.com/watch?v=8Gv0H-… the lyrics are a bit harsh, but it's just satire, as well as a parody of a rather explicit song.

Well, Shakkoumon just needs a mother bone, a bone for the up and down movement of the arms, expressions for the eyes and that's it.
Magna-Angemon is one of my favorite Digimon. I can't wait to see him rigged up.
