HOO WEE MAMA this one was a doozy!In all seriousness, drawing these two was such a blast. I absolutely LOVE these two characters, did such an incredible job bringing them to life. No spoilers, but you guys should keep an eye out for this dude. He's got something special brewing.
Anyway, yeah! Commission for the wonderful and lemme just say this dude has been SO incredibly patient with my persistent questions and confusion and all-around everything-ness. You've been such a blast to work with! (i know i know, i have two more commissions for him on the way, but i just had to say it now)
In other news, I apparently hate myself and decided to choose probably the most detailed drawing I've done yet to try a new shading style. As much as I love how this turned out, it ended up taking me...maybe ten hours? Maybe twelve? A heckin' long time, I'll say that much. I've NEVER had to pull two shifts (??? to 5 or 6 AM) to finish shading. Still, it was a lot of fun, in all seriousness
okay i'm done ranting now, a FRICKEN LONG TIME on my Sai with my Intuos!
EDIT: Removed the undershirt on the bat per commissioner's request! (i like it a lot better myself, to be quite honest)

But honestly, did you really need to put me on the spotlight like that? I'm not really doing anything special, just writing a silly little story about a silly little unicorn getting dragged into helping a bunch of ghouls get to the moon. Absolutely nothing special about that whatsoever.
But seriously, you did such an awesome job drawing this scene and these two ponies! I'm glad you love them as much as I do and I hope to share more of them with you and everyone else "Soon™".
Though I think I'll go ahead and prepare the bunker just in case my story turns out to be horrible...
