Matir was resting on the tiny chair behind his stand, like usual not many people came to purchase anything from him. He crossed his arms and closed his eyes, guessing nobody would stop by anyways.

May was idolly walking down the street when she noticed at rather interesting looking stand. She approched it without much caution and took a gander at what the vender had. Oh, everything was simply lovely. She noticed a few jewlery pieces that had caought her eye, the question is which one will she choose? The whole time she was oblivious of the large man behind the stand, arms crossed and eyes closed.

He opened his eyes when he heard somebody get closer, thinking that person would go to the stand next to him. He looked up at her and jumped up a bit suprised, knocking over the chair he was sitting on. ''Ah, my apologies.. can I help you?'' A gentle smile appeared on his face as he bent forward a bit.

May was started when a rather large man jumped and the clatter of the chair made her shy away. His features were interesting enough a rather large nose that looked as if it might have been broken and narrow icy blue eyes, strong face and hard jaw line.It made her a tad nervous but as he smiled sweetly enough she switched to being more timid then anything. "Ahh," she absently shifted feet in a shy habit, "Umm." She let a low embarrassed noise, as she shifted her face downward towards his items.

He moved away from her a bit as he noticed she got rather nervous. He kept looking at her with the warm smile he had on his face a lot and let her think for a while. He slowly moved towards her a bit again ''If I may ask, what is it exactly you're looking for?''

"Well..." she thought about it for a second, "your jewelry really, um, cute." her voice rasied at the end almost making it seem to be a question. She shift her eyes to his and smiled shyly back at him, it was soft and sweet. "I, er, was hoping to buy a necklace or bracelet." Her face dusted a light pink and she looked away again silently cursing herself for being so timid.

''Do you have a favorite colour perhaps? Oh and eh.. I got some more than just these ones actually.'' He reached for a little box that stood next to him, it was filled with all kinds of bracelets and necklaces. He put it down infront of her ''There, go on.. take a look.''

"Oh," her eyes grew wide, though it didn't seem possible, and she let out a little huff while wearing a childish smile. "Woah," she said breathlessly. Her eyes rested on a particualir necklace with simple white, blue, and brown beads with a fairly large black claw in the middle. "I think i like this one," her tone was low but held excitment as she pointed that one out. Her gazed sparkled as she looked back at the large white/blond still holding her smile.

''Alright'' He took that one out of the box and put the others aside again. He showed it to her one more time, "This one right?" His smile appeared again ''..And well since you're my first customer today, I eh..'' He looked around a bit ''I'll give you a discount, I mean.. you really seem to like this one huh?''

May's face lit up like it was Christmas morning. "Oh, really. I mean your just to kind!" Leaning towards him her whole face alight with a childlike quality. "But only if your okay with it of course." 'This guy,' she thought to herself warmly, 'is really sweet.'

"Ofcourse I'm okay with it'' He chuckled then grabbed the card that was on the necklace and scribbled the new price down on it and showed it to her "Can you.. afford this?'' He rubbed his head and frowned slightly, he didn't want to dissapoint her.

She eyed the price with enthusiasum. "Oh, why yes! Thats wonderful!" She quickled dug into her pouch and pulled out the correct amount, handing it to him. Although she knew he wasn't frowning out of sadness she didn't like to see such a kind gentleman frown. "You know, your really nice Sir. Thank you very much." She leaned forward and smiled softly her full lips curling over her shining teeth, eyes lowered slighty, full of joy.

He smiled and gave her the necklace, ''I'm glad I could make you happy.'' He put the money away and put the chair he was sitting on back down. He sat back down and nodded at her a bit ''..have fun with it.''

May grinned nearly from ear to ear, and gentley put it over her head. "I'll be glad to wear it around," her tone lighty and bubbly. "So, where do you buys these," she questioned politely, curious as always.

He looked at her for a while and chuckled softly ''..I don't buy them, we made them ourselves.'' He looked at the bag with the jewelry, ''All of the things I sell are well, hand made by my own family.''
He ruffled trough his hair a bit and smiled ''Though, I just sell them..''

Her eyes widened conciderably. "Oh, wow! You guys sure are crafty!" She pranced around a bit before jogging excitedly in place. "I wish i had talent like that." She smiled softly almost sadly,"You family must be real nice," she commented warmly her voice thick with feeling.

''..Yeah I wish I had talent like that as well..'' He muttered softly and let out a big sigh.
''And oh yeah they're nice, to family members.. yes. Other people however..'' He shrugged ''..Not so much.'' He tapped his fingers ontop of the stand.

The corners of her mouth went south as a deep frown set in. "At least your family loves each other..." she looked away eyes saddened and downcast. His family seemed nice, regardless of there temper towards non-family memebers.

He frowned slightly as he looked back at her ''..Not so lucky I'm guessing?'' He rubbed his head, reaching out to her with his other hand, about to pat her head but pulled back.

She smiled though it was hollow and pointed at her shaved patched of hair, fuzz lay there short but showing growth. It looked out of place compared to her long thick hair surrounding her face. "You see this? My sisters did it, all out of jealously and grudges." Her smiled tightened and was straining to stay up. "They never really favored me much...it got worse when father died." He smiled faultered when she mentioned her father and her voice cracked at the last bit.

He frowned again, ''That's cruel.. and, I'm sorry about your father'' He sighed and stood up from his little chair and moved it towards her ''There, sit down for a while.'' He smiled a bit, trying to cheer her up a bit.

The cornor of May's lips twitched into a small smile, hardily noticable, but she was glad for his genorocity. "Thank you," she mubbled shyly and earnestly, before sitting down. "So," she said trying to change the subject, "how is it around here? I'm fairly new."

He leaned against the stand a bit and looked around after she asked
''Hm, a tad dark.. uh'' He shrugged and smiled a bit ''I'm not from around here actually, we only moved here like.. not too long ago. But yeah, not everybody is.. too nice around here.''

Her eyes lingered on the streets longer than usual. "Ahhh," she looked at him nervously, "well, I might not be to welcome around here, probably easy pickings." May's eyelids lowered a curtian of lashes following suit. "I guess I'd be used to being bullied or teased. It can't be as bad as my house." She peered through her lashes, looking into his eyes, giving a light hopeful smile, a glimpse of white teeth flashed at him.

He frowned as he looked at the girl infront of him and sighed, "Look, if something happens know you can always come here."
He crossed his arms and thought about it, if somebody of his family would find out he'll be in big trouble.

May gave him one of her famous childlike smiles. "You may seem big and scary at first glace but I honestly can't see you harming a fly." Her face flushed a light pink. "Thank you for your offer though, and I'll be sure never to abuse it," and she meant that. She doesn't like causing people trouble, especialy ones that mean her well. Only if she REALLY needed him would she be sure to drop by for help.

He rubbed his head and smiled slightly, he was actually kinda flattered by that "Ah, well I guess tha's good.."
"And really, stop by any time you want.. it's not like I'm that busy.."

May chukkled. "Yes, I'll be sure to visit though. It must be boring when you have no one around to talk to." Her reply was sweet rolling right off her tounge. But as she thought it through she frowned, "But when i do find a job, I might have less time too."

''Oh, you're looking for a job huh?'' He rubbed his head ''You could.. if you want ofcourse, maybe help me a bit?'' He bit his lip a bit ''..Though, you wont get payed that much..''

May's large eyes practically sparkled, as her hands flew up to pap her cheeks. "Oh really? Thats sounds wonderful," she practically gushed. "I came here to get away, not for money, and helping you out seems like all I could ask for!" She wasn't lying either, her taste were simple enough. All she wanted was friends, a nice job she would enjoy, just enough food to eat, and a small comfy place to stay. It was fitting together just like glue.

''But like I said, it wont be much though.'' He rubbed his head not sure why she was this happy. He got off his chair and smiled slightly anyway, ''I was about to go anyway, so maybe you could help me getting these boxes back up on the cart over there.'' He nodded towards a huge cart in which a lot of boxes could fit, ''I do want to say that these boxes can be rather heavy..''

Needless to say May was both excited and determind to get to work, briskly she rolled up her sleeves and swung her arms out then in with balled fist in a gesture of determination. "Alrighty! I'm not the strongest but i make up for it in enthusiasum and vigor." Her gaze rested on his and she grinned at him brimming with happiness.

He smiled and pushed one of the smaller boxes towards her, ''Try lifting that one.'' The box was still rather large, but for Matir this one was the easiest one to carry. ''..if it's too heavy you can help me putting everything back in the boxes instead.''

Determind, May lifted the box, though not with ease, but she wasn't about to complain. A low grunt escaped her lips, "Not," she took a second to let out a few huffs, "so, bad." She took here time and careful steps but finally set the box in it's place. "See?" she smiled sofly, "Another!" she declared breathlessly.
