Ah, the first installment to my partaking in the 100 Themes Challenge. The theme of this piece is "Introduction."-
Just so you all know, I don't like this picture. >< But I think I kind of like the gist behind it, despite it's simplicity. Bad ol' drow just walking up to some rich girl and hitting on her. How adorable. He's probably gonna get pounded by her looming fiancΓ© later.
He's introducing himself, so I figured it would match the theme.
I heart drow. <3 I based Haxans a little off of them. Though I think this is possibly a Pigeon drow because his eyes are orange-ish and not red. Yeah, I made up Pigeon drow. Oh, ho. They're just dark elves without as high of hairlines, human-colored hair, brown/orange eyes and are built for physical labor rather than magic. They also got them thin, hairless tails, but whatevah. xD
But... this guy has white hair. O.o *Explodes.*

It was only after finishing the picture did I realize the photo was from the Tower of Terror at Disneyland. *Laughs.* What then?! Pigeon drow are poverty-stricken. How'd he get in there? O_o
It's really dark so you can't see the cruddy details. Oh, and you don't need to say it. I hate the glow around the drawing too. But it had to be done in order to see the picture. -_-

The first thing that struck me in this is the girl's expression. Initially, I thought of how surprised she looks, then I saw pure terror. The smallest amount of shading under her eye seems to add to this expression but I think the emotion is really made up of all the pieces coming together in this work.
The drow's expression and even presence seems the complete opposite of the girl's - he is in total control.
I believe I will fave this.

HIS FACE!! Oh my goodness, I'm in love.
In a creepy, evil sort of way. Why do I have an obsession with those type of characters? 
I love the mouth - I've been trying to figure out how to draw men's faces for a while now (a remanent of my stupid illustration class, that has me drawing now) and this is just... inspiring XP I know, it sounds dumb, but there's no other word for it.

Love your work, as usual. Actually, I like the glow, it reminds me of something out of Hellsing with Alucard coming out through the shadows, or whatever. xD
I'm glad to see I'm not the only one who has submitted something now. I almost felt like a dork for getting something in on the same day I started the challenge. Thanks for making me feel less dorky, sweetheart. x3

I'm going to be taking my time with it, so hopefully most of them will be colored and everything.
Nope, there's no time limit at all (thank God). It's very convenient, plus it helps you squeeze in a little practice when you have artist's block. Whenever you get the chance, try it out by copying my journal.

The drow's hair style reminds me of Orochi-sama.
Meh..I was watching The Grudge last night and Kayako reminds me of someone from Naruto and I can't figure out who. The hair reminds me of Orochi, but just Kayako in general reminds me of someone...
