Hi Angie - yup, that's it: noise, grain, whatever you like to call it... I decided since the sand already had a fair amount of noise in it I might as well add a little to the rest of the pic to see how it would look... it's ok, not sure if I like it so much, and was going to assign it to my 'scraps' folder, but I don't seem to see that folder anymore so I just created one. Anyway, I guess you could say it makes an interesting alternative to the original. Glad you liked it. And thanks so, so much for the kind words. I really appreciate the support!
