made out of clay
and water color
it cracked the next day though :/
does anyone know how to get clay not to do that? am i useingth e wrong kind?

well, considering that clay is a soluble material, it will absorb water, so if it is dry, then absorbs the water from the watercolor, it will break down and crack. You should try glazing it and firing it.
