Alright! Here's my tribute to one of the best games I have played in recent memory: Dust - An Elysian Tail. The characters are memorable, the combat is fluid and very fun, and it's got a pretty decent story to go with it. Also, the story behind the game's creator, Dean Dodrill, is very inspiring and an amazing read. I highly recommend this game, please go check it out on Steam, or Xbox Live Arcade.

I've done a playthrough of this game with my pal Congaman over at his Youtube channel: SolarFlareGaming. You can watch the first episode HERE .

My intention with this piece was for it to be a culmination of sorts of all the things I've been focusing on in my last few artworks: background and scenery, capturing action, and evoking a sense of perspective. I'm pretty proud of what I've done, but I'd like to hear your thoughts as well!

Also, there was supposed to be a speedpaint video to go along with this artwork, but I lost about 70% of the footage during an update of my screen capture software and I unfortunately have no way to get it back. I would still love to try and create a speedpaint video, so I'll have to ask you to be patient until next time.
