Caelan Graham-Rountree takes on the form of a male hippogriff with the story of hailing from the top of Mount Aries. He is Sunset Shimmer's hippogriff-friend and Spike's adoptive older brother. He is Queen Novo's captain of her royal guard. He's loyal, caring, brotherly, easily distracted or spooked, but also a tad hotheaded, but he tries to keep himself together. He's also very emotional, controlling his anger and sadness so his joy can rule his mind once more. He doesn't know how loud he gets, but Twilight compliments his singing and says they should sing together in a duet. He lives peacefully in Ponyville, staying with Twilight and Spike as a permanent member of the Fellowship of Friendship. Caelan was tasked to stay in Equestria by Optimus Prime (Robots in Disguise (2015) universe), so he'd be safe from any evil, including multiversal villains. When Optimus decided to stay in Equestria after the defeat of Megatronus, he decided to settle down and marry Celestia, so the Princess of the Sun and the Last of the Primes can watch over and protect their students-turned-equals. Caelan relaxes in the Everfree Forest's mud pits, at which Zecora tends to his well-being, Twilight's Friendship Rainbow Castle (when he's babysitting Spike or visiting Twilight) or at Sugarcube Corner (where Pinkie has a party or two in Caelan's honor, as they are both gluttons, easy to get along with one another and she's a Blue Lantern native). His mastery of magic is only paralleled by either Twilight and Starlight, thanks to an amulet they made which houses an all-powerful sapphire, hidden by a fragment of the Pearl of Seaquestria. Armed with magic of Nova-Terrian origin, Caelan proves to be a very powerful opponent because of his force-field spells (which he learned from both Twilight and Starlight) and understanding of fictional multiversal logical magic, which allows him to use his powers to the next level. He has a new way of battle that allows Caelan to bring his machinations to Equestria by granting them immunity to any kind of dark magic.
